Coming back to TV. I’m excited, you know, for the kids. With Star Wars also coming back this year do you think we will see a return of Mark Hamell for another Star Wars episode? Both are owned by Disney.

This was a weekly TV event for our whole family when I was a kid. Brilliant stuff, hilarious, all that. Jim Henson was a genius who left us too soon.

As long as they bring back Bobo the bear, I’m cool.
That’s one.

Sure, “for the kids”, that’s the ticket.
Hopefully it’ll take this time.

I'm tentatively excited. "Muppets Tonight" was so-so. "The Muppet Movie" (the one with Jason Segal) was "meh", mostly because I couldn't care about the main character (Walter?) and seemed more of a vehicle for whatever celebrity they could dragoon into making even the briefest of appearances. My family and I got into "The Muppet Show" thanks to videocassette recordings off Nick Jr. in the '90s from my brother's college that he'd bring home on break.

They keep saying that they’re going to go outside of the theater, and it’s going to be more like a reality TV show...which I will love, but will never achieve the greatness of Avenue Q.

I enjoyed Muppets Most Wanted a whole bunch more than The Muppet Movie. Because of my huge dislike of Walter, my favorite part of Muppets Most Wanted was this exchange.
Constatine : Comrades, I’m afraid I have bad news. Walter and Fonzie had quit the Muppets.
Lew Zealand : Wait. You can quit the Muppets?
Rowlf : Wait a second. Walter quit the Muppets? We just did a whole movie where he joined the Muppets.
Floyd : Yeah, we sure spent a lot of time on it.
Rizzo : Ha! I’ll say. Maybe even at the expense of other long-standing, beloved Muppets. Come on, Robin.
That said, I still really want to be excited about a new Muppets show.
